In 2015, FiberNorth was approached by a regional fiber provider to build fiber connections to approximately 25 cell towers across Northern Michigan, enabling their customer to expand their cellular network. These projects ranged from short distances of 500 feet to as long as 0.75 miles, all with stringent construction requirements and tight timelines. Over the subsequent years, we have successfully installed over 100,000 feet of duct and fiber to service these towers. Working quickly and efficiently in these conditions was crucial, as maintaining connectivity for customers and upgrading the towers presented significant challenges. Since then our dedicated team has constructed fiber networks for these towers throughout Northern Michigan.
